Vivienne Baker

Vivienne has exhibited widely, featuring in more than 40 exhibitions, of which twelve were solo shows. Her paintings have been exhibited internationally in USA, Armenia, UK, Portugal and France. Her work has been bought by many private collectors as far afield as New York and California USA and China, and also, more locally, has won the RWA Painting Purchase Prize.

Vivienne has a BA Honours in Fine Art from Coventry Polytechnic 1985-1988, a Foundation in art therapy from Bath College of F.E. 1989-90, and an MA in printmaking from UWE Bristol 1988-2000. She currently paints at Spike Island, in Bristol, UK. In the past she has participated in residencies in France (Triangle Workshop), UK (Shave Farm Workshop) and New York (Art OMI). Vivienne has also taught both painting and printmaking. She is currently participating in the Turps Correspondence Course 22/23.
